Big Boomers 4 AT Sharks 7
The Sharks were able to snag a pretty easy win going up 3-0 in the bottom of the first after a scoreless inning of pitching from Will Essick and then a 2 run homer from Michael Gibson and a solo homer from Will Essick. After that Essick gave up one run in the top of the 2nd followed by a 3 run homer by Will Essick and a solo homer from Michael Gibson in the bottom of the 2nd. In the top of the third the Big Boomers had a bit of a rally going back to back to back homers by Phillip Bullock, Adam Hall, and Scotty Venable but it wasn't enough. Scotty did a serviceable job pitching for the Big Boomers while both him and Essick kept up their scorching hot hitting pace both going 4-5 which will keep their averages well in the .700's. The Sharks moved into sole possession of 2nd place in the league.
