DRAFT and FREEAGENCY RULES

There are four Water Wiffle Ball Franchises Sharks, Dash, Trent + Co., and Baileys

Each team currently has a player/owner

Sharks - Michael Gibson

Dash - Matt Boles

Trent + Co. - Christian Martin

Baileys - Dylan Gibson

The owners are allowed to franchise one player prior to the draft which keeps the player with the franchise for the following year. (Players can be franchised as many years in a row as the owner wants)

Current Franchise Players

Sharks - Charlie Moran

Dash - Matt Haas

Trent and Co. - Taylor Ray

Baileys - Dillon Mabe

Owners can opt out but will never be an owner of a franchise again and can not be franchised tag for the following 2 seasons subjecting them to the draft 2 years in a row.

Franchise Players can refuse the tag and go straight to the draft, however they will not be allowed to be franchised or become an owner the following year.

TRADES

Trades can be made as long as the trading Owners agree to the deal. Future draft picks can be traded. Trade Deadline will be midway through the season.

FREEAGENCY

Players actually can be released by an owner where they are subject to waivers but they must accept a player in return.

EXAMPLE: IF TEAM A drops J.Doe and TEAM B Claims him, TEAM A must take whoever TEAM B drops. If the released player goes through waivers with no claims he remains with his original team.
