The Dash came up a game short of playing the Sharks in last years water wiffle ball world series, but now there is strong talk they may be acquiring the team captain of the Sharks. If Michael Gibson (47 homers) chooses to opt out the Dash hold the 1st pick already having Matt Boles and Matt Haas the three M's could take the league by storm in an unpresidented move. This would obviously be an offensive powerhouse but is Gibson prepared to leave the defending champion Sharks and the unquestioned best pitcher in the league Charlie Moran? When asked for comment on this story Shark captain Gibson had no comment. Let's take a look at the way the league would look if Gibson does opt out.
The Dash - Offensively: three of the leagues top hitters and an offense that may bat around countless times and could put up an average of 15 runs a game.
Defensively: Gibson/Boles/Haas are all great in the field making a ton of spectacular plays.
Pitching: This is where it gets dicey they would have to have some sort of rotation cause all three have had some success but have also gotten shelled at times.
Sharks - Offensively: There would be a gaping hole losing the best hitter in the game, and with Charlie and Dan as very streaky hitters there could be some bad and some good games.
Defensively: Dan's effort in the outfield can be not so great sometimes.
Pitching: Charlie is easily the most dominant pitcher in the game and is the last person you want to hit against.
