The Sharks smashed Trent and Co. 12-0 behind an offensive onslaught (M.Gibson 3, C.Hayworth 1, D.Hartsook 1) and superb pitching M.Gibson and C.Hayworth combined for a 1 hit shut out. Dylan Jonny Josh and Trent looked horrible in their first game of the year.
In the 2nd game of the year M.Gibson got roughed up in the first inning for 5 runs but in the bottom of the 1st the Sharks responded with 6 and held Trent + co. to 1 run in the top of the 2nd. In the bottom of the 2nd the Sharks scored 10 runs including the walk off run ruling homerun by M.Gibson. (M.Gibson 3, C.Hayworth 1, J.Rojas 1) Trent and Co. (T.Sherril 1, J.Phillips 1, D.Gibson 1) Dylan gave up the walk off pitching left handed when they ran out of pitching and he was forced to reenter with his less than dominant hand.
Big Bucks was assembled and Dylan Gibson demanded a trade to it. Matt Haas and Brandon Buck joined him. This game was led by the Sharks until the bottom of the 3rd with the score 9-3 and Carl Hayworth in to finish it. Carl gave up 4 runs and got one out but had to leave for Wendy's leaving us with Jeffrey making his first pitching appearance he walked Dylan Gibson and Brandon Buck bringing the winning run to the plate. Jeffrey lobbed one over the plate just trying to get a strike but Haas had other ideas tattooing the ball for the walk off win 10-9. (C.Hayworth 1, M.Gibson 1) (M.Haas 3, B.Buck 1, D.Gibson 1)
In the Grudge Match M.Gibson, J.Rojas and new arrival Scotty Venable. The game ended the same way but in reverse Scotty Venable hit a walk off 3 run homer to win the game 11-9. (M.Gibson 2, S.Venable 1) (M.Haas 2, D.Gibson 2)
The Cougars are yet to play a game and will consist of C.Cecil, M.Boles, P.Bullock. J.Nix-Denmark, M.Loftus.
