Game 1 - Baileys 4 AT Big Bucks 6
Shawn started this game and pitched pretty well but got roughed up a bit in the 2nd and was probably pulled too early bringing in Dillon Mabe who gave up some runs but got out of the inning just down two. In the top of the 3rd the Baileys failed to get any offense going and the game ended 6-4 M.Haas made a Willie Mays style catch in this game back at the wall. (D.Gibson 2) (M.Haas W)
Game 2 - Big Bucks 11 AT Baileys 9
Dalton started this game and held the Big Bucks to 0 runs in the top of the first. D.Gibson started this game for the Big Bucks giving up 5 runs in the first. Then the 2nd inning happened and the Big Bucks erupted for the first time all day Matt Haas had his swing back and hit 3 homeruns in the inning D. Gibson had two in the inning and B. Buck consistently got on base leading to a 10 run inning. So with the score 10-5 B.Buck came into pitch for the Big Bucks, he proceeded to give up two runs and gave the ball to M.Haas who gave up 2 more making the score 10-9 (most of the Bailey's runs came on big blasts from J. Williams and Dalton) heading into the 3rd. In the top of the 3rd D.Gibson hit a solo shot but that was followed by 3 outs. So coming into the bottom of the 3rd it was 11-9 with M.Haas in to pitch. The Baileys proceeded to choke and went down 3 in a row losing the franchise's second game in a row. (D.Gibson 3) (M.Haas 3) (J. Williams 2) (Dalton 1) (M.Haas W)
