Big Boomers 3 AT Raiders 6
The Big Boomers started the game looking like they were in over their head as pitcher Phillip Bullock gave up 6 runs to start the game including homers to both Matt Haas and Dylan Gibson. However once he figured out how to translate his baseball knuckle ball to WWFB that was the end of the Raiders scoring. Six runs was all it took though as the Big Boomers late inning rally featuring back to back to back homers by Phil, Adam Hall, and Luke Zente fell just short leading to a loss in their debut game.
Raiders 8 AT Big Boomers 11
Scott Venable held the Raiders scoreless in the top of the first inning then the Raiders did something completely unexplainable. I don't know if team captain Dylan Gibson was taking the Big Boomers lightly or what but he made Matt Haas and Brandon Buck pitch the complete first inning which mercifully ended after the Big Boomers posted 9 runs. Every Big Boomer player homered once in this game leading to a victory in their 2nd game. Haas had a nice 3 homer game and Dylan chipped in 2 but it wasn't enough to bring the Raiders back from their first inning pitching woes.
Raiders 6 AT Big Boomers 16 (Run Rule 2nd)
If you didn't think the Big Boomers were legit yet this game removed all doubt. They slapped one of the better pitchers in the league in Dylan Gibson around to the tune of 16 runs enough to run rule the Raiders before the game even really got going. Scotty Venable had an incredible game going 6-6 with 3 homers and 8 RBI's including the run ruling Grand Slam. Rookies Adam Hall and Luke Zente proved very formidable at the plate smashing two homeruns a piece in a big time win over the Raiders.
