REPORT: Essick to miss opening day due to brother's graduation from NC State. Obviously this is a very big achievement and on behalf of the league and the Sharks I want to send out a congratulations to him. As for the Sharks it definitely hurts an already thin roster for opening day. The current projected opening day roster is now M.Gibson, C.Hayworth, S.Venable, and possibly D.Hartsook and J.Rojas but they are far from sure things. The Sharks will have to wait longer to unveil their big three trio of M.Gibson, D.Hartsook, and W.Essick.
