So far in the history of WWFB we've had two MVPs, in 2010 the MVP was Michael Gibson of the Sharks as he led the league in homeruns by a considerable margin, in 2011 we had our first ever pitcher win MVP on the back of perfect game pitching Christian Martin. Who are the favorites to win it this year?
1A. Michael Gibson, Sharks -Obviously the front runners for MVP are going to be the two most likely home run leaders. Michael Gibson and Matt Haas are the heavy favorites because of the offensive production they bring to their respective teams. If Haas shows up to all the games there should be a home run and MVP race for the ages.
1B. Matt Haas, Raiders - Obviously the front runners for MVP are going to be the two most likely home run leaders. Michael Gibson and Matt Haas are the heavy favorites because of the offensive production they bring to their respective teams. If Haas shows up to all the games there should be a home run and MVP race for the ages.
3. Christian Martin, Classics - Christian is up here for a combo of both his hitting and pitching while it's tough to expect another perfect game performance if his hitting picks up he should be right in the running.
4. Dylan Gibson, Raiders - Another superb pitcher hitter combo that could put him in the running for the MVP. Tough to give him MVP when he plays on the same team as another highly touted MVP player Matt Haas.
5. Matt Boles, Seahawks - A homerun hitter that can go on streaks and take over games. If he consistently shows up and keeps his hot streak going throughout the season he could get in the heat of the homerun race and MVP race.
