Slumping Sharks drop 2

On a day where the Sharks were at their worst and the Big Bucks were at their best the Sharks still remained competitive. Combined with a lackluster hitting performance (mostly by myself who had a horrid day at the plate hitting dylan's off speed pitches off the end of my bat all day until finally blasting a homer but trust me ill be back with a vengence next game) and some questionable calls both ways the Sharks had their worst day as a franchise. They ended game 2 on a rally and should be far from counted out as the best team in the league. Especially on a horrid day only losing by 1 and 2 runs respectably. The Big Bucks and Sharks don't meet again for a while but I guarantee we'll have something for them next time. As for Haas he has put himself in the thick of the MVP race as its shown that the Big Bucks play on a whole different level with him there when he's on his game. Dylan had a very solid pitching performance with his knuckler. It'll be very interesting to see how the rest of the season goes on.

Sharks 6 AT Big Bucks 7 (extras)

Scotty's two base running errors in the top of the 2nd of this game set the tone for the day for the Sharks who still stayed in this game despite horrid offense. This game finally ended in the bottom of the 5th with Haas' 2nd walk off of the year. (S.Venable 2)(M.Haas 1) (D.Gibson W)

Big Bucks 11 AT Sharks 9 (extras)

The game of questionable calls...but I'm not gonna get into that. Dylan playing umpire and pitcher helped their cause a whole lot though. The Sharks bats never really started going until the bottom of the third with back to back homers from D.Hartsook (a solo shot) and M.Gibson (3 run shot) which helped them close the gap but with Rojas striking out the game ended 11-9. Dylan had a good day on the mound but it may have had more to do with the slumping Sharks chasing pitches out of the zone and not getting all of the ball on a very windy day.
