Trent and Co. 5 AT Sharks 19 (1 inning Run Rule F)
M.Gibson started pitching for the Sharks and k'd 3 but after getting two outs a pair of Rojas errors allowed Trent and Co. to get some momentum and load the bases. After a walk Trent and Co. was up 1-0 and C.Martin hit a grandslam to go up 5-0 then TRAY was struck out. The Sharks were ready to answer back in a huge way Essick walked 5 straight people before being relieved by C.Martin who was hammered and was relieved by Trent who was hammered until finally hotdogs were served resulting in a run rule forfeit 19-5 keeping alive the tradition of the Sharks crushing Trent and Co. this year. Trent and Co. 16 AT Big Bucks 7 (Top of 3rd forfeit due to Jony leaving)
This game started off with Jon. Phillips striking out the side but it ended with Jony leaving with his brother. Yep it was that kind of game for the Big Bucks who dropped their 2nd game in a row. D.Gibson's curve ball was nasty but after people got a read on it it was smacked all over the yard leading to this 9 run blow out loss. The defense for Trent and Co. (highlighted by a sick grab by Essick possible gold glover?) combined with slugger D.Gibson being held in check to one homer led to a pretty easy win for Trent and Co. On top of that the underlying story is Trent is undefeated (2-0) against his former teammates not to mention had a great game with 2 homers. Sharks 9 AT Trent and Co. 4
The Dominican talent was on display this game Arnold pitched a complete 4 run game while Jeffrey Rojas smacked a much needed grandslam that was flat out sick. Now turning to Arnold his pitching style has been said to be highly unorthodox throwing high balls low balls then striking people out you never know where the ball is gonna go. M.Gibson had a homer and grandslam in the 1st inning adding some powerful strokes to what is a dominant team. Christian and Trent put up a good effort but with Arnold making his first appearance adjustments were hard to make. (M.Gibson 2)(J.Rojas 1)(C.Martin 1)(T.Sherrill 1)
The Sharks are proving to be the top team at 5-1 and are starting to distance themselves away to get the 1 seed which includes homefield advantage and odds are a great match up with the Baileys who seem to be the bottom team.
Dylan's Big Bucks are struggling without Matt Haas and even with him back it seems like they will be in a dog fight with Trent and Co. for the 2 seed all season. Let me tell you if the Big Bucks and Trent and Co. meet in the 1st round of the playoffs homefield advantage is gonna mean a lot in that 5 game series.
With Trent and Co. rising up it looks like the Baileys are way behind all three teams talent wise and may be hard pressed to find a win. The Baileys are playing friday and hopefully all of the teams will be able to make it so they can get caught up.
